International wedding celebration at Schwielowsee, Berlin area
The atmosphere was truly enchanting on this wonderful wedding day at Schwielowsee. From early morning, the sky was covered in a blanket of gray clouds, creating a sense of magic and anticipation. The humid air seemed to whisper tales of imagination, adding to the intrigue of the day. As a photographer, I hoped for no rain, and fortunately, our wishes were granted.
I already knew Anni as she contacted me couple of years ago. I was so happy to receive an email from Anni, who was inviting me to the wedding. There was a complete trust between us, which laid the foundation for an incredible journey together on their special day. It was an international wedding, filled with love, joy, and beautiful moments that I was honoured to captured for her family.
The Precise Resort Schwielowsee was the venue for the celebration, and in many ways, it was the perfect choice. The marvellous resort was surrounded by a beautiful landscape, it was close to Potsdam and Berlin with its friendly staff and all the necessary equipment for a welcoming event. There was the start of the day with a small photo session of bridal’s wedding morning. We also wanted to surprise her future husband and bring some entertaiment for wedding photograhy: there we go — Anni went to the sauna. Special gift for sauna’s lovers avaliable in the room of The Precise Resort at Schwielowsee Lake.
Then we were waiting for all the guests at the ceremony, which took place in the historic Dorfkirche Caputh, American Church in Berlin. It was surprisingly cold in the old building, so I can only recommend you to take warm coat or scarf with you if you want to get married there. Ceremony was supplemented by insightful music as guest from the bride’s side are coming from musical sphere. After the ceremony we are made group pictures with all the wedding guests.
After the ceremony, we had an opportunity to have couple wedding photosession in Schloss Caputh and walk by the lake. The small royal Caputh Palace is the one of the only surviving palace building in the Potsdam cultural landscape, built after 1662. It’s green park located directly at Havel river.
Couple wedding photosession provided quiet and peaceful break after the exciting church ceremony and guet’s greetings (it is always very exciting). Many thanks to Anni’s sister for holding all her sister’s stuff in her hands.
Coming back to loved The Precise Resort Schwielowsee for the wedding cake, apperitivo and celebration. That was a day full of dancing and surprises. Very intelegentual and charming. What made this wedding day even more special was that the bride is an opera singer. She has special voice. We were amazed by how it was in the church and later on at the reception ceremony, when she sang songs. Some of the guest prepared music surprises as well. Lovely!
I am happy for being together with this lovely couple as a wedding photographer and trust person, who captured the best moments of their special day. I believe that during the years our pictures would always remind them about the trust, connection, and joy that we shared on that day.
