Wedding Day in Reutlingen

After few years spent in China, N and M chose a beautiful hometown Reutlingen for their wedding day celebration together. Reutlingen was an ideal place to share their marriage day with their friends and relatives.

Their wedding day began with a relaxed ‘First look’. I suggested to use brick wall for the background, so it will look clean. This background was perfectly matching upcoming wedding celebration in the couple’s wedding luxury venue in Reutlingen - Alte Färberei-grillen. Plus is allowed us to wait in the shadow.

We were waiting for around 15 minutes and M was getting more and more excited. This is just fun to watch and, of course, I was very supportive :)

Then N arrived. I love love love these images of how her father was checking her wedding dress. This feels so intimate and shows their deep relationship and excitement.

I should say it was a really hot day. Somehow the photosession was planned during the harsh sun and we were looking for some shade. I used natural background and some trees for wedding photosession.
Next, we headed to the church for wedding ceremony at location Neuapostolische Kirche Kirchenbezirk Reutlingen at Alexanderstraße 80 at 3 pm.

Ceremony was was held in very friendly manner. The speech of the prist of Neuapostolische church and speeches of a groom and bride made guests cry and become very sentimental.

Then we moved to the Alte Färberei, luxury wedding venue in Reutlingen. We had to do group photos in the beginning while other guests were welcomed with sparkling wine and appetizers.

Celebration was warm, full of speeches, candid images, flower girls who were running after the bride and straighten her wedding dress. Couple followed traditions and cut the cake that made small wedding day guests extremely happy :)

The beautifully staged first wedding dance performed with an ecstatic crowd round the two of them received greeted with applause from guests. I would say dancing was really heavy that night! Guests were having fun and this is how it should be during a wedding celebration. As a wedding photographer I love this part of evening a lot. It provides me great opportunity to capture some great shots with all the guests in action and add wedding images to the more classical portraits.
