Civil wedding registration in Standesamt Schwabing and celebration in Bamberger Haus, Munich

We have met with Nicole several years and already did some personal photo sessions together. I was very honoured to received the invitation for her wedding celebration as a wedding photographer.

The day started with morning bridal preparation in Schwabing. in the historical beautiful center of Munich. We were expecting family members to be nervous, but actually it turned out very calm. Thanks to the make up artist, the day started very chill. Groom even grabbed a beer in the kitchen. Why not? We are in Munich, well-known for its Oktoberfest celebration and moreover: it’s his wedding day! Let’s do whatever you want :)

After the first look that happened inside the flat where our lovely couple live together, we went to Standesamt Schwabing. This wedding reception is one of the best wedding venue for official civil wedding in Munich. The staff is very friendly and it is always a pleasure to be here. You will not have lot’s of options for the wedding photography inside: one wooden waiting room, hall for the civil wedding reception and official ceremony, but the exit to the street looks very nice and classy.

What all the guests enjoyed — the bridal couple organised the school retro vintage bus to take everybody from Standesamt Schwabing to the venue, Bamberger Haus, where celebration should continue. That’s is quite a modern (despite the name of the bus) and convenient way. This two locations are also perfect combo as they are both located very central in Munich and it takes around 10 min drive only to be there.

We had a chance to have a quick couple wedding photo session and then came back to the guests. It was sunny day in the garden of Biergarten of Bamberger Haus with tradition followed: opened a wooden beer barrel, cutting wedding cake, group photos with all the guests.
